pokemon friendship ratings ★
(This is just going to include Joseph's main team of 6 Pokemon, so they'll get switched out as he changes his team composition.)
RUSH (Level 25 Charmeleon)
"Hmmm. I think... it feels friendly toward you. At least a little..."
Rush is a sharp-witted and proud Charmeleon, with a tendency to lash out when he feels he's been mistreated. He and Joseph had a very rocky start, but he's slowly starting to listen to him more often. However, he is prone to going completely off-script when battles are going poorly, and trusting his own judgement over Joseph's.
PRINCE (Level 27 Pidgeotto)
"You seem really close! You look so, so happy! It's enough to make me happy too!"
Prince is a calm and collected Pidgeotto, who enjoys observing most situations rather than getting involved. Joseph has been treating him very well, so Prince is fiercely protective of him, and is one of the few Pokemon on his team that does not prefer Suzi's company.
QUEEN (Level 29 Tyrunt)
"It's quite friendly with you. Keep being good to it!"
Queen is a stubborn and impish Tyrunt, who decided she belonged to Joseph without any input from him. She is as short-tempered as any Tyrunt, but can be appeased with food. Mountains and mountains of food.
SLAYER (Level 31 Bastiodon) ✨
"It's quite friendly to you. It must be happy being with you."
Slayer is a calm and docile Bastiodon, who enjoys the excitement of being around Joseph's chaotic energy. Joseph worked hard to evolve him quickly, and is super proud of having a dinosaur to ride around.
AURORA (Level 28 Lycanroc)
"You're starting to get to be friends. Just maybe, walking along the same path has made you understand one another."
Aurora is a very caring Lycanroc, who will frequently check on Joseph's other Pokemon after battles to make sure they aren't too badly hurt. She likes bringing Joseph cool rocks that she finds while wandering around.
VANITY (Level 26 Pidove)
"Well, I think you and Vanity will be an even greater combo someday!"
Vanity is a playful and excitable Pidove, who Joseph is very attached to. She really loves riding around on Joseph's head, and always greets Joseph by rubbing her face on his cheek. Like his other bird Pokemon, she is spoiled rotten.
